Elizabeth Reaser has a career as an American film, television and stage actor. Her most notable roles include The Twilight Saga (film), Greys Anatomy (series) and True Detective. Elizabeth was born in and raised in Michigan. As a kid she was awed by her passion for acting. After graduating at the age of 16, she studied drama at Juilliard School. She graduated with a degree in fine arts. A guest star role on The Sopranos she had her first TV appearance. Then, she appeared in other shows that were successful, such as The Jury Hack, Standoff, and The Jury. The beginning of her career came after she got the role as Alice Alden, in the show Saved (2006). The actress was then cast in important parts in Greys Anatomy, The Good Wife as well as True Detective. Also, she appeared in two films Liberal Arts One and Two as well as The Twilight Saga, all five episodes.

Jessica began to show an interest in film and TV. The path she chose to pursue was as a model for fashion. Her discovery as an actress after an Australian casting director reached out to models for auditions. She landed the role of "Kiki" in the movie Lightning Point/Alien Surf Girls. Since then, she's had minor roles in movies like Peter Pan, Aquamarine and many other films. Roman Empire, a Netflix original series from in the 2nd season starred her as Cleopatra. In addition, she starred in the Pirates of the Caribbean classic film Dead Men Tell No Tales. Jessica was chosen for the role of The Outpost's lead role, Talon. The actress submitted a video of her self to the producers which contained her acting in the role, as well as an additional video of her performing MMA. Producers requested that she send the video of her swordfighting. On the next day Jessica sent the video. Jessica had gone through the script before filming her first weapon lesson. Based on Jonathan Glassner, the stunt team was surprised at how well she performed in her first class. Her prior films were made in Australia. The Outpost was her first major part in the United States. Jessica's passion for action is evident in her character as she demonstrates mixed martial arts and horseback riding skills as well her weapons and athletic capabilities. She can also perform her stunts in a way that portrays the strength of a female persona. She was trained in mixed combat, boxing as well as muay Thai at an gymnasium in Australia. Jake Stormoen came across a wandering pet when filming Season 4. The dog was later discovered to belong to the litter of puppies, who had taken place in the studios. Jessica took care of both puppies.
