Anna Silk
Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada by her character as Bo. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk have been the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and is a drama teacher in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories as being at play rehearsals with her mother. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for kids. She completed her studies at St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least two early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto for further development of her acting career in the month of November 1999. Later, she spent the decade that followed, she relocated into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she met him in 2007 during an acting workshop located in Los Angeles. They got married in 2009 and married in a civil ceremony in December of that year. In April of 2011, they renew their vows during an Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on 13 May 2016. Silk was nominated in 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. In 2009, she was cast in the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming of the third season finale episode. She announced the pregnancy to the fans during a Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk was doing work on the show since the season's third finale episode premiered on January 6, 2013 on Twitter, announced her intention to return June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN named Bo's portrayal alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about TV couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple in the year 2013. Entertainment Television.
